Post 168 Juniors edged Hobart Post 54 3-1 at Hobart’s City Park Thursday night. Post 168’s Austin Wynn (Munster High) went the distance allowing only three hits while striking out 5 Hobart players. Post 168 continued to get the most out of their opportunities as they only had three hits in the contest. Anthony Olund and Matt Philbin both singled to help the cause but it was Mark Dye’s single in the 4th inning that drove in what turned out to be the winning run for Post 168.

While there are still a large number of naysayers and doubters among Post 168 Nation, it appears for now that there is some indication that Coach Sherman may be on the right track.

Post 168 Juniors look to extend their two-game winning streak on Friday against Whiting Post 80. Game time is 6:00 pm at Lake Central High School’s varsity field.
